| Program |
Function |
| Design and
Manufacturing |
Design and
manufacture trainers and simulators for customers. |
| Device |
Feature
/ Benefit |
| Air
Vehicle Simulator |
Develop
crew station simulators that are reconfigurable for the AH-64 Apache,
UH-60 Blackhawk, AH-1 Cobra, CH-47, UH-1 and OH-58 helicopters.
Also develop the cyclic and collectives, heads down displays, and
simulated main instrument and side console panels with displays and
controls including real time interfaces and software. |
| Ground
Vehicle Simulator |
Built
the first Bradley A3 tank simulator. Delivered before the vehicle
was accepted by the Army to assist in engineering development and
soldier training. |
Maintenance
Training
Simulator |
The
CH-47 and AH-1 simulators include electrical, hydraulic,
structural, fuel, and ground support mechanisms. Our simulators have
been training the maintainers for years at Ft. Eustis, VA, and other
locations around the country. |
Virtual
Reality
Entertainment Center
(VREC) |
Built
a commercial gaming simulator based on the F-16 fighter aircraft,
including the cockpit, 6 degree-of -freedom motion platform, and visual
display system. The simulator is used solely for commercial
gaming and is operational at a mall in Burbank, CA. It can also be
networked to other simulators around the country. |
| Molded
Products |
Our
Models and Mock-ups organization in Orlando has developed proven processes
utilizing state-of-the-art polymer and elastomer materials to replicate
any aircraft or ground vehicle component at a much lower cost than
the original. We have developed a functional AH-64 Apache Transmission
and a number of M1A2 and M2A3 ground vehicle components
for maintenance and operator training applications. |
| Range/Target
Devices |
Build
nose cowls, blister tanks, and fin tips for the BQM-34A unmanned
target drones to support target acquisition training for the Air Force
and Navy. Metters Industries also performed the upgrades necessary
to be compatible with the Air Force GRDCUS and is certified
to perform damage repair for all the BQM-34 metal components. |
Simulated
Communication
Sets |
Develop
communication sets for the Simulated Military Ground Vehicle Communications
System (SINCGARS) to simulate communications under real world
conditions. The sets include synchronous/asynchronous adapter boards
and communications headsets. They can interface to a LAN in a network
simulation environment or connect to actual SINCGARS units
in vehicles on a range. |
| Signal
Data Converters |
Build
and repair signal data converters for the Navy's P3-ASW aircraft.
We have provided depot level maintenance for a number of years supporting
the P-3 aircraft. |
| Models
and Mockups |
We
build and repair 2:1 - 4:1 scale sophisticated classroom training
models for the M-2, M-249, M-203, AT-4, TOW IIB and all other
individual assault weapons for the Marine Corps. |
