Summary: R2-3G is the U.S. Army Program Communications-Electronics Life Cycle Management Command’s follow on contract to the current Rapid Response (R2) contract. R2-3G supports the requirement to provide and acquire engineering services and equipment to research, develop, study and analyze, upgrade, install, fabricate, test, maintain and support new and existing federally funded Government platform, system, subsystems and critical items. Any federal agency will be able to use the R2-3G contract and requirements for a broad range of services are competed as task orders and awards are designed to be executed within 45 days from solicitation. A total of seven contracts have been awarded with a combined ceiling value of $16.4 billion over a five year performance period.
Type of Contract: Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) with the option to issue either Time & Materials (T&M), Cost Reimbursable (CR), or Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Task Orders. Task security (DD Form 254) and delivery schedules will be negotiated separately for each Task Order.
