Contract Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPA)

The following contracts can be used to establish BPAs with Metters Incorporated:

Summary:  BPA allows ordering activities to address anticipated repetitive needs for products or services in an efficient manner while minimizing administrative burdens and paperwork. If the BPA is established against a General Services Administration (GSA) Schedule Contract, all terms and conditions of the GSA Schedule Contract apply, so there is no need to renegotiate terms and conditions.  BPAs can be single-award or multiple-award.  Once the BPA is awarded, the ordering activity may issue task orders to the awardee or awardees without competition outside the BPA holder(s).

GSA Schedule Contract BPAs generally should not exceed 5 years in length, but may do so to meet program requirements. Contractors may be awarded BPAs that extend beyond the current term of their GSA Schedule Contract, providing the contract has option periods, which, if exercised, will cover the BPA’s period of performance.
